I find the normal chat quite confusing. Is there a mod for Forge 1.16.4 that allows me to keep whisper messages on the right of the screen and global chat on the left?

But it is simply good and can only be recommended. It is much clearer than normal MC Launcher you can use the modes that are good for the gameplay. So a must for Minecraft players.
