On my Minecraft server, the mods are not recognized?

So on my Minecraft server, the mods are not recognized although they are recognized by Minecraft itself so the mods are recognized but not on the server and I had to create the mods folder itself is it?

Are you aware of the difference between server mods and client mods?

If your client (so what you play with) has a mod, then this mod is not automatically on the server. On the server you have to install mods via Forge extra.
