Minecraft Mod update?

This mod is called Advanced https://minecraft.curseforge.com/...ightsabers

This mod is on the 1.7.10 but some would like to have it on the 1.12.2.

That's why I'm asking someone to explain how updating works.

1.12 has changed a lot for 1.7. Just update it is not there. The mod basically needs to be rewritten. And that costs time and even money. Apart from that, no one is allowed to do so, even if the author of the mod does not allow what he does not do.

No one will sacrifice his free time for several days without pay just to update ne minecraft mod. Learn java and do it yourself.

This is not even just moving n item, doing an item, and stuff. This is hard work for days. So as if you ne construction company times ask if you build your house for free shortly.
