Interested me.
I started it because it was one of the few 3d games that ran on my 2nd computer. I stayed because the players used to be much friendlier and I started to understand the game. Until about a year ago I played it actively because it was fun with the right people but meanwhile many players (the German scene) are very toxic and destroy the playing fun of others with their behavior. So I do not like Minecraft anymore.
The updates
The Mod possibilities or Modpacks
I only play single player
Multiplayer does not irritate me anymore
The last time I was on servers than the 1.2.5 / 1.3.2 was still outside
You can build what you want and can. Theoretically, there are almost no limits. It's a nice quiet game.
With a suitable community you can play together nicely.
Meanwhile, I manage my own FreeBuild server. I have never played anything else as a freebuild in MC myself. PvP, SkyBlock or something like that I personally net so great.
Oh and I like to mess around with Redstone. What you can do with Redstone and Minecarts is awesome. Even if it is difficult to make sense of this in survival. But it is cool ^^.
