Every time I try to install Forge or something similar, the cmd box opens for a fraction of a second and closes again.
Minecraft works without any problems.
I can't download anything with Java. I have tested the newest and the 8th version. It does not work. I installed and uninstalled java several times, but it still didn't help me.
I'm using Windows 10.
Drag the file into a folder where nothing else is inside.
Go to the folder that the jar is in
Shift Right click on an empty space in the folder
Open window with Power Shell or Command
Then enter
Java -jar name of the jar without errors.jar
You only have to set the point jar if it wasn't on it before.
Try to open cmd and type "java -jar" and then you drag your jar file into it with Drag'n'Drop and press Enter
