I have to choose between two laptops:
has 2 hard drives (1SSD: 256 GB, 1HDD 1T)
has 1 hard drive (1SSD: 512)
It's about gaming, Minecraft but also other stuff. I want to keep many options oven.
Depends on.
With a laptop I would bet on SSD only, saves weight and is insensitive to impact. Also quieter.
But does the second laptop have another option for connecting an SSD or HDD?

I would take the device with the two FP. So you can save important files on both disks. If one breaks, you still have the files on the second one.
And the 256 GB on the SSD are always enough for fast games or for the operating system. And videos / photos you shovel on the HDD.
Disadvantage: the HDD consumes more energy.

Since I would take the place with SSD and HDD in your place. You can of course synonymous with the 512GB SSD take and then swap it for a larger one. Then, however, the warranty will be omitted and large SSDs are unfortunately still not so cheap. Option 1 is, in my opinion, the best. (Of course, depends on the rest of the hardware).
