Check whether a giant spawned normally via / summon Giant ~ ~ 1 ~ behaves in exactly the same way.

I did some research… In Minecraft 1.8 the giant zombie AI was removed. Only in the development version 18w50a (for 1.14) does it have a zombie AI… But otherwise only in versions BEFORE 1.8
