Redstone lamp or Glowstone (Minecraft)?

Which block do you prefer to build with?

I build redstone circuits, and a lot of them need a display. I use redstone lamps there.

I use Glowstone less, because I prefer other blocks like lanterns or sea lanterns.

I use Glowstone because I don't feel like having to hide the whole Redstone circuit

I actually prefer to build with sea lanterns.

Depends on.

Should the lighting be switched on and off? Then Redstone.

If the lighting is simply to be permanent, then Glowstone.

P.S.: At least with the two options available. Otherwise, I tend to do permanent lighting with torches.
