Lamp in the pc?

Today I bought a Minecraft lamp with which you can stack the blocks as you like (see picture) and I thought that I could put it in my PC case on the floor and lay the cable out at the back as a decoration accept.
Is that a problem or should that be clear? Also because of the temperature.
