I would like to program for a Minecraft Server plugins and I wanted to know if you can do that with Python. Or are there better options or programming languages that are more suitable for Minecraft and offer more options for programming.
Python is leaving. But better would be Java. In it also MC is written. But of course, Python goes too.

Python works, but limits the possibilities to my knowledge. But more useful would be Java or any other programming language compiled to JVM bytecode (Kotlin, Groovy, Scala, …).

I think, if you want to do it with reasonably good graphics, you have to work with Pygame. But even that could be difficult, but probably possible.
