Do they sit there for hours until something happens or what? The best example is self-programmed Minecraft plugins. There are many people who find bugs. Even if they have nothing to do with the actual known methods. E.g. Monetary systems. How does that work? (I ask because my friend has a server himself)

If you can't see the source of the right plugin, try a similar one hoping to find something
