Can you take a loot tower in Minecraft?

I walked through the landscape and found this tower. I then barricaded myself in it and killed looters, but I have the feeling that they keep spawning… Wanted to ask if it could be taken at all?

You have to see if you really killed everyone, there are often caves in this chunk just dig down and search👌🏾 But normally that should work🙌🏾😜

So I think if there was no basement where maybe a spawner could be and you haven't seen a spawner, all the looters you killed should be dead, which means you can take the tower too.
