Minecraft realms not working?

I just bought the Windows Edition for Minecraft so I can play with others, but somehow I can't join realms does anyone know why?

So when I click on realms nothing happens

Or do you have to have this Minecraft realms plus for this

You can only be in realms where you have been invited
