Who made the DDos on Suro?

I wanted to ask if you knew who that was and what was suspected who that was. Was supposedly such a Minecraft hacker on Garkolym basis. Who was suspected again?

Au

The stream the junk. With enough audience and a possibly not so well developed server. (I do not know on which server that took place I read only briefly) it can be that very many spectators have tried to get on the server. (possibly there's the URL leaked or known) What causes the server may collapse.

In short: The DDOS may have been the mass of fans storming the server. Watching with 10k or so can already inadvertently quickly paralyze what if you let go of something.

Have already experienced here and there at streams. Since ne page was mentioned and 5 minutes later it was not reachable because the whole audience wanted to look at this website.

ro

Unge had tweeted that it was a little boy who can't and will not be prosecuted.

It was probably not such a blatant hack, because one of the admins had just forgotten to start the firewalls…

ro

So first of all, the server where Suro took place has nothing to do with the server from which the stream is running, and second, the server that is running Suro certainly has no URL…

Au

If the server was available on the internet then you can connect to it from any client. IP is enough for the emergency too. The URL does not necessarily need it.

That could z.b. Also been leaked. Already enough if the short is seen in the stream if it was to see how the participants connect to it. (especially if all or a majority of the participants still stream themselves)

If it should have been a "hacker" he also needs this IP.

Alternatively, you can of course host the server in a private network. But it should be quite difficult for a hacker to get there without really being noticed.

But without knowing the exact infrastructure, one can only guess.

ro

Sure, no IP has the server and he needs, but my criticism you have not received in content?

Au

Well, I think so. The Twitch (or other streaming server) server have nothing to do with it is clear.

That's not what I was concerned about. I was concerned that it is sufficient that enough people will be known under which URL or IP the suro verser is hosted and then they can just paralyze because they try to log on it. Thats what I meant.

ro

Kling plausible, but as you can see from my answer, Unge wrote a tweet to the "hacker". In addition, the "hacker" has done more than just a denial of service.

That or?

That was not a DDoS.

If then a DoS if he drove down the server. Or similar.

Sn

Unge left cracked clients on the server. These are not even illegal. Everyone can use them and everyone can use every name. This has nothing to do with hacking or DDOS. Unge is still, after all these years, still unable to properly launch a major Minecraft project.

ro

OK. Yes, I do not know, I researched briefly and came across the tweet
