Why are you sometimes verbally attacked when you say you play Minecraft, for example?

Somehow I don't quite understand it…

The thing that struck me most was Minecraft and Fortnite. I don't play the latter myself because I don't really like it. I really like to play Minecraft. That's why I've been fooled.

But seriously, why do you get stupid comments about something like that? I mean… Can't you care?

Maybe there's someone here who reacts that way himself. I would like to understand that.

And yes, I'm aware that there are other topics where something like this occurs. So you can save yourself such answers, because that's not the point here. ^^

Because minecraft is probably too boring or too old for them to be played

Minecraft players are no longer part of it. You are only attacked by those who follow the trends. So you can say something like: "I don't have to be interested in the opinion of people who absolutely can't form their own opinion"

I personally don't care. If people should make me stupid because of something like that, I'll give it a ***. I just don't understand why people do that, like what does it bring them? XD

True. The reason is definitely that people feel cooler because they are now playing the new games for cool kids
