I personally do not work with script. I can't help you. I can only develop a normal plugin for you.

Why?
You can do everything with scripts. My team of 7 developers programs Java plugins. 2 of these scripts do 2 more than the 7 because scripts are simply better you can do anything with them. My developers don't have to prescribe the H-Dev but they do. You need an extra plugin for many things, e.g. Placeholder API people always scream when they hear scripts, I hope you have some insight
I don't want to program a game mode with script. I will not have any insight, because script is rubbish. Why put extra plugins on the server to get the scripts up and running when you can just program the right plugins? If script were such a "better" killer alternative, large networks would only be scripts. But they don't. Think why not.
