What would be most useful (Minecraft)?

In Minecraft there's a fight ahead with a friend he has full slide and a Netherite sword the enchantments are not that good. It is now offline for two days what should I do, because so far I only have full iron and a few slides. I think it would be smart to farm slides, but is there anyone who knows better if so, write what I should do next?

I would recommend first making a pickaxe out of the few diamonds, getting full slide equipment and then combining this with Netherite. A shield is also a must in any fight. If you can't get the resources that fast, traps are an option too.

Aside from Dia / Ancient Debris Farms, I would recommend getting some really good Librarian Villagers. They sell enchanted books.

If you have an unemployed villager, just put a lectern next to them and see what kind of trade they are offering you.

If it's nothing useful, just dismantle the lectern and put it back in place.

If you get something good (like Unbreaking IV, Efficiency 5, Mending, etc.) then trade with him once to lock the trade (otherwise you may lose the trade!).

Optionally, you can turn it into a zombie villager with the help of a zombie, but I would only recommend you to use hard / difficult, where the zombification rate is 100 percent. Otherwise it can happen that the zombie kills the villager! You also have to protect the zombie camp from the sun so that it doesn't burn.
