Pixelated Minecraft stream?

I would like to stream Minecraft via streamlabs OBS but it is not particularly sharp for me (the chat e.g. I missed or pixelated)

can anyone help me there?

Br

Does the quality only relate to the chat? Or on the entire stream?

If it relates to the entire stream, try increasing the video bit rate. Then it worked for me.

un

In what steps? I'm changing my bit rate from 5500 to 50000 and still see no difference or am I doing something wrong?

An

50,000 Mbit / s is probably a bit much for your internet connection.

un

Yes okay but I see no difference or is it because I just enter any high numbers?

Ha

So no matter what line you have 50000 is way too high with 5000 it should fit.

See if you have the right resolution in OBS (1920x1080)

un

I have set a 5500 bit rate and a 1980x1080 / x 720p but the image is out of focus

Li

Small question, big answer.

the quality depends on your hardware, the internet and the game. With OBS, the correct codec should be selected first, x264 (then the CPU does this, 4 cores recommended, depending on the settings, it can jerk with insufficient performance), with NVENC that makes the graphics card (fundamentally resource-efficient and fluid, but also lower image quality) , then it depends on the resolution, either 720p, 900p or 1080p, then 30 or 60 fps. If the image is scaled in real time (e.g. The monitor has 1080p, but 720p should be streamed), then it is best to choose the middle filter (16 samples, 32 can also be tried). The bit rate is also crucial, I would not recommend less than 2,000 at 720p 30 fps, twitch does not support more than 6,000 (but as a partner is more), at 1080p 30 fps or 60 fps, a maximum of 6,000 bit rate. With youtube you can stream up to 2160p (UHD), there the bit rate is not limited, because then the PC is guaranteed to reach its limits. Love from

Br

You may have to wait a bit and then manually increase your quality on YouTube.

un

Is streaming via twitch and has an 8mbit line

un

And i see it from the thumbnail that does not change

Br

Achsoo on Twitch. Yes, well, then you probably can't increase the quality. Hmm. Just try out what happens when you stream on YouTube. Whether the quality is good there.

un

Well i see the picture at the obs preview and no matter if 1000bit or 6000 it just doesn't change anything (am in 1000 steps up)

un

I have an RTX 2060 and I also stream over it

an 8mbit line and stream in 60fps

And no matter how high the bit rate is from 1000 to 7000 in steps of 1000, the picture does not change

Br

Hmm then choose a different encoder and set the quality to Max. Quality in OBS. Or have you already tested both?

un

It doesn't get any better, I also reset to default settings and it was still pixelated

Li

Then you should possibly switch on the filters as I wrote, try 16 or 32 stitch problems or gff. Increase the resolution where you want to stream. That's pretty much the only thing you can do if the image doesn't improve regardless of the bit rate.

un

I have already tried 16 and 32 but both look the same

and the resolution is already at max.

Gr

What is your upload rate. If you only have an upload of 1 Mb then that won't work with the 720 P either

Br

Hmm then I'm sorry, then unfortunately I have no idea

Li

Korret. I agree. I assumed that a high bandwidth is available, otherwise the topic is of course not applicable.

un

9,7mbit

Gr

Very funny. So then I would only think of you as @gruuli said your scaling is not correct. You can find this under the settings under the Video tab if I'm not mistaken.

un

Is it normal that nothing changes in a game / window recording if I change them?

Gr

So that's what you change in a game / window shot. If you change something directly in the filter of the window recording, yes. If you change something in the settings you change the effect for all specifications such as the bit rate and co. What exactly do you think that changed?

un

I currently have it on a screen recording

I have just deleted all the settings and let me decide the "best" settings myself but no difference

I now have 6000bit indoors as well as a resolution of 1280x720p

scaling filter is at 16

fps to 60

encoder is Nvidia NVENC H.264 (new) have an rtx 2060oc

under Force stream service encoder settings is a check

presets are at maximum quality

profile on high

recording format is Mp4

and psycho visual tuning

Is it correct that way?

Gr

In itself, it all sounds right. Does it work with the settings? If not, I can send you pictures of my settings if I have them inside me (streams to 720p but only). But would only be personally at 3:30 p.m.

un

It still looks the same but likes it

un

Now have a sharp image on obs but not on streamlabs obs despite the same settings why is that?

Li

Then they are not the same settings. Streamlabs is based on OBS and is technically the same with only extended functions, nothing more.
