I have a problem. I got the computer from my brother (Gamer PC), but missing a cable to the video card but that will come. Ansich I can play games like Minecraft or some indie games on Steam as well (internal graphics chip) but these games ALL but really all ask for OpenGL what I do not have on the machine. Can I somehow switch to DirectX? Or install OpenGL? Please help me.
My operating system is Windows 10
Or are there other solutions?
Actually, the graphics card driver brings OpenGL compatibility with. You do not need to change anything there. The system automatically switches to the API if necessary.
Download the current driver for the graphics unit from the manufacturer or / and bring Windows 10 up to date.
I think you currently have the cable connected to the motherboard. I think at least the problem with DirektX dissolves if you have the cable to the graphics card. OpenGL should actually be installed automatically with the games but you can also google for "Install OpenGL"
Opengl is nowhere to be found on the computer.

Did you install graphics drivers as I wrote?
Googling does not search Windows
Have everything reinstalled and Windows updated. I noticed that there are files from opengl32.dll, for example, but the games still do not work. My guess is that I have an outdated version. Do you have any ideas?
Outdated version could be. In that case, I said yes, bring the graphics driver to the n ewest booth. So use the driver of the manufacturer side of the graphics unit.
