Can you play the Minecraft Java edition on Windows 10?

As you know there's Minecraft Bedrock which you can only play on Windows 10

and I just wanted to know whether you can buy, install and play Minecraft Java for Windows 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (i.e. Under Win 10) on Win 10.

Yes you can, that's how I do it.
I don't have the Bedrock version.
Simply log into the Mojang site, buy the game, download the client and play.
