My Minecraft friends can't join me but can I join them?

I have PS plus and play Mincraft Bedrock edition just like my friends. But I can join my friends, but they can't join me. I have already uninstalled Minecraft and re-downloaded it. When my friends want to join me they are in the infinite loading screen and have to restart Minecraft can someone help me?

That could be because that could be because you have not activated multiplayer in the settings
