Minecraft failed to login: authentication?

Yes, I had this problem a few times back then, logging out and logging in helped but no longer.
No matter which server I want to go to, this message comes up (see picture).
Haven't played it in 1 year, is it due to Labymod?

The message says that you are not getting a reasonable answer from the other side. In a year (or more?) The server may be elsewhere or the security has changed. E.g. From http to https
