Griefergames offline?

No. You use 1.14. GrieferGames does not support them.

The server only works from version 1.8 to 1.14. Just use one in between. How to do that you can google.

The best 1.8.x, the latest version which supports GrieferGames is 1.13.x.

Then she should switch to 1:13.

Profiles → Create new profile → Set name → Set version to 1.8.9.

I suspect that you have started your game with the "newest version" (1.14), where I suspect that GG does not yet support the 1.14. Try to go to profiles in the launcher, create a new profile and then select it in releases 1.12. Try to start again and connect. If the server were off, then the message would not come!
