Does Minecraft cost SO MUCH RAM?

I play with my main acc on a big server and have 4 2 accs on the server. Only the server has a bit gelaggd today but still every few seconds I had several seconds stand still and in the task manager were all 16gb ram occupied. (2x8gb gskill ripjaws v) so cost several mc to have accounts open SO UNFASILY MUCH RAM? Have synonymous otherwise a very good pc (rtx 2080, ryzen 5 2600) can someone tell me whether it really costs so much ram or my pc has any errors? XD

Your pc has wsl no mistake.

This can happen with the server if the Internet connection is faulty.

Minecradt reserves the ram that you have assigned when starting the game it will always consume press f3 and look how much fps you have if you have more than 80 fps it is wsl on the internet connection or on the server

So Minecraft should not consume more RAM than the calculator. Did you set the distance to max? XD

Eigendlich mc does not need much but if it is open 3 times may have mods on it then you come with 16gb not far away.

You have written that you are 3 times on the server so you must have started it 3 times. You can start a game 100 times, but your pc will bust you a bit

Minecraft itself does not need much but texture pack mods etc then go into the performance for the FTB mods are also recommended 32gb for a game of course
