Minecraft server problem, can someone

I hosted my own Minecraft server with Bukkit, now I had internet access via a Wi-Fi stick. Until then, everything worked. But I was disturbed by the slow internet connection and that's why I connected an internet cable to my computer. Since I connected it, nothing has changed. It depends on the ip address of the server. I wanted to play with my friend on my server, but only me could not join and my friend did not (I can't find the right IP address anymore: I tried everything the website wieistmeineip.net, many other sites and I even looked in the computer for the address Windows key -> cmd ---> ipconfig including the Ipv4 address) (although I can join my computer's address, but if I give my friend the same address that I can join then he can't join). Everything was already set so that we could play together, so it should not be due to the settings.

You confuse a lot…

Local IP (192.168.2.xxx) is not equal to external IP…

If you change from Wi-Fi to LAN, your PC gets a high internal probability a new internal address, which you have to change in the port forwarding first

If port forwarding again you give your friend the IP which is displayed on http://myip.is…

What do you mean that you have changed the IP? You can't change your IP, only the internal you can edit…

First of all, thanks for the answer!

How do you mean that I should change the port forwarding?

Should I go to this website and there will be an address displayed?

And I mean that I find the Ip as usual nivht more.

Me

You have a port forwarding enabled in your router or?

Yes on the website you will find your external IP address. About this IP can then external joins, but only if you have set up the port forwarding properly…

I have already released port forwarding (25565)

On which device? UDP and TCP? Internal as external the same port?

Am

I have the port on my device (Windows 10 PC) released.

I have released the port on TCP and also on UDP.

Right there I see the problem by switching from WLAN to LAN you have now selected the wrong device…

Your PC should appear twice in the list once over LAN and even WLAN. You have to choose what you are using…

Everything else should be okay

Thank you very much, I will adjust the port now.

If necessary, I will write again.
