Unfortunately, I do not know any attitude with which you can accelerate or slow down the growth of plants. Maybe this is possible with the difficulty regulator but I would not know 100%. If you play with more people you can swap the stuff for whatever you need. And just keep doing that with the animals, then you'll be really lucky with the meat production
