I would like to play Minecraft Beta with friends, but this is not supported on Aternos.

Where can I host a server for free, and run it on the beta 1.7.3 version?

ma

Server and free is often not a good combination.

But if it's just for you and colleagues, you can also host it locally.

Ma

What do you want with such an old version?

I still know Hamachi, otherwise I host myself on my own PC or get a small GameServer / vserver.

The beta 1.7.3 will no longer provide you a server hoster, so you best choose one where you can upload your own jar file; my recommendation at the point https://bero-host.de/

Is relatively cheap, support is also great and I had no problems so far, you have ftp access, so you can also upload your own Jar file.

Here is the 1.7.3 Beta Minecraft Server Jar: https://mega.nz/#!ShgXRa6a!2Yl3eFeP_aFAyr3Sp30e9p4dADF4yCuZ4ZqtO3H0geg

If you also want to have the Bukkit version, write to me privately

For free you would really only have the option to run it over Hamachi, which made me but bad experience in terms of the connection

Had I already done everything, just wanted a way, where everyone can start the server at will. That's just how I can start it. Without me they can't gamble.

Experience nostalgia. In addition, the full bucks.

Hosting yourself is not the solution I'm looking for. I want everyone to be able to start the server, even if I'm not on.

By the way, is also free without Hamachi - Is there something that is called "port release". That's how I did it ^^

pa

At minehub.de the free servers are really good and also lag-free (games with friends and more than 25 plugins partly up to tenth and nothing lags)

ma

Well, you have to confirm every two days.

pa

Every 3 days and that takes only w minutes maximum

Whereby it is advantageous to have a static IP saves the otherwise necessary DynDNS service or re-pass the IP after each change.

Jop. Currently, I always pass it through again.
