I run a Minecraft server, but I see in the logs that any IP addresses from the USA are always connected. As here "/150.109.182.127:51487 lost connection.
How can I prevent it, except to close my server port now, I don't have an IP-Fire Firewall yet, but it will come soon. Until then, I need a solution.
Secondly.
I still use 1.5.2. How can I migrate to the current version without any problems?
The last time it was always because the AVG tick went quite high.
If it doesn't slow down your server significantly, why stop it?
Since I've already noticed. Some things were broken. How rails were removed etc.
I have nothing against it when people come to my server and play along, but it is impossible to destroy someone else!
Then you have to set a username whistlist. Then only certain usernames can be on it.
I hardly play MC anymore but then I put an anti-degradation plugin on it.
Would also be an option.
How do I do that?
Where can I get it?
Which program / website do you use to host your server?
Windows Server 2016, The server is at my home.
Hm ok that makes it more difficult. Did you practically program the server yourself? I only know that this is done via a website, where you can also choose things like Bukkit, plugins etc. Search for * no break plugin * at YT or in google.
Do you have a bukkit / spigot or vanilla?
What's wrong with that? If you have no root or other access?
Where can i query?
I have now whitelisted. Now no one else can do it!
