Minecraft server crashed with client?

I brought one (100 player minecraft server) to a standstill. About 30 seconds, no real damage was caused by this. With a cheat client, I was not connected to a proxy or VPN so they have my ip, that was not a DDos attack. In addition, the admin wrote in the chat "There's a display" and banned me for computer sabotage, will I get an advertisement?

Yes you can be shown due to computer sabotage if you intentionally damage the server by e.g. Send an unnecessary number of inquiries like a DDOS and you would be 100% to blame for that. I don't understand why you should do that
