I played a game mode 3 years ago or so on a better known minecraft server where I unfortunately do not remember the name of the mode and the server.
It was in the mode that there were 2 larger teams that could improve in the base of an iron spawner and could improve a gold spawner with iron and gold and could buy a diamond spawner with gold and could improve this with diamonds. Once you've died you've been dead forever but you could buy yourself with iron, gold and diamonds, armor and weapons etc. At a villager.
I urgently need the name of this mode.
Bedwars (available on any servers), zmd. That's the first thing that comes to mind
It is not woe because you can't improve the spawner there
But otherwise it sounds very much like bedwars, maybe this was just a special feature of the server
In Bedwars on Hypixel you can improve the spawner with diamonds.
