How can I add the RandyMc Resource pack in my Minecraft Java edition?

With me on my Windows XP computer I can't insert the RandyMc resource pack into Minecraft on the RandyMc server. Minecraft 1.12.2

Download ".zip" file from the package
Open ".minecraft" folder
Open "resourcepacks"
".zip" file in
start minecraft normally
in the settings on resource packages
activate the desired package
