MyFritz and Minecraft Server?

I want to host a Minecraft server via a MyFritz address. Only I can't do this. Another DDNS service is excluded for me, because (eg Noip.com) do not work.

I have a VDSL2 17a (DS-Lite) line with 100 Mbit download and 40 Mbit upload. Besides, I'm at 1&1 (and yes I'm satisfied with 1&1).

I already have a MyFritz account, have already tried to release the ports and make a MyFritz release… However, I had the problem with the MyFritz release that I could not add UDP. This was shown to me again and again as TCP. (Input in the scheme!)

If more is needed, let me know.

I thank you for any help in advance!

PS: I have a Fritzbox 7590th

You only need a normal release to the port 25565 TCP.

No idea why you always read this step, at least Minecraft does not use UDP.

Only over TCP it would not work for me. And according to many forums and pages it says that a Minecraft server also requires 25565 UDP.

Look first without forwarding, if it works to be able to exclude a port error, and in my FritzBox it is possible to set a forwarding via No-IP, so it is not surprising that this is not the case with you.

A forwarding is no longer active. Error still exists. With the xyxyxyxy.myfritz.net address I can only access the Fritzbox and minecraft finds no server about it. Tomorrow I ask again for the 1&1 and AVM support.

So basic.

Port Release = Someone can enter the port from the outside.

Port Forwarding = Someone can connect to a device from the outside via a port.

Release without forwarding or Port Forwarding actually brings nothing. From where should the router know where the request to the port should go.

Forwarding is thus TCP from PORT to PORT to DEVICE.

And then you can also enter UDP, or just TCP / UDP.

With the tool "TCPViewer" you can see which ports are occupied and listen to the outside…

At MC Server you will not notice UDP…

St

Does it work on the local network? Have you changed what network related in the server.properties?

UDP is a connectionless protocol that does not ensure the arrival of the packets. In short, it makes no sense to Minecraft at all. Here you can read it: https://wiki.vg/Protocol

As far as I know, this is only intended as a "remote connection", if you want to make the server online, you need your public IP or a DynDNS. - As I said, with me No-IP works on the router.
