I just wanted to inquire about learning the Java programming language (for Minecraft pluggins programming).
When I downloaded the Spigot 1.16.1 from Getbukkit and the script to start the server
(java -Xmx2G -jar spigot.jar
pause) wanted to perform. Was a bug in the cmd "The command java is either misspelled or could not be found.".
I need help because some of the tutorials / websites couldn't help me.
Here are a few more information that could be important:
file has the extension ".bat", jdk was downloaded from oracle.com (contains jre), name of the .jar file in .bat spelled correctly, both (cmd and spigot) in the same folder.

That means you don't have Java installed. Download it here:

What you need is "Windows Offline (64-Bit)".
Either you haven't even installed Java or you have to add Java to the Windows path. You can find the path under Environment Variables
