I'm currently building a medieval and very detailed city on my server and among other things there should also be a small cave for the orc.
However, I do not want you to see the entrance, but that it is covered by tendrils.
But tendrils can only be placed on blocks.
Is there a command that you can use to place the tendrils in the air without having to wait long for them to grow down?
With WorldEdit that should work. So it worked for me with ladders
Set a barrier in the first row, they are invisible to players and then put the tendrils on them, either manually or with worldedit.
Vines always need a firm surface, only if you put them in the air would we dissolve immediately.
You can insert the / fill command in a command block (Repeat | Absolutely | Always active) so that the tendrils are always placed when they fall apart in the air.
So I would build the entrance first, place the tendrils and then destroy the blocks behind. Or did I misunderstand something.
The only problem is that the tendrils break when the blocks are destroyed. But thanks anyway.
Not with me, you just have to leave the top block
Right Lol. I did not notice at all.
