I was about to change the motd of my Minecraft server. I did this successfully in Server.properties. However, A Minecraft Server is still displayed as a motd (after shutting down and starting up and restarting Minecraft).

In the picture you can see the motd

You have to upload the new MotD and restart the server…

Otherwise, look for special characters that the server may have. Can't display…

I would never recommend a motd plugin just use a generator.

Edit Motd save and insert in the config.

Any plugins that change the motd are unnecessary and just perform
