Minecraft Spigot Server: allow modified clients?

I rented a spigot server on Nitrado. And wanted to join Optifine on the server. But the client crashed on joinen. With the message that I'm probably using an unsupported modified version of the game.

Can I allow this on the web interface? Or do I have to change any directories in FTP Explorer?

Normally this is not blocked by Spigot.

Could you view the crash report and copy the content to hastebin.com → store → link share, then we can analyze the crash report here.
(Crash-report-path:% appdata% \. Minecraft \ crash-reports \)

Optionally, of course, would be the server.log if it is on the server. (very unlikely)

I have not used Forge because there's no Forge for 1.13.
