Minecraft 1.8 menu moved?

I just downloaded minecraft Java Edition and wanted to join a server in the 1.8 version, but my whole menu is moved when I switch to the 1.8 (see picture) in the latest version, for example, this is not the case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Perhaps the size is set too small in the Minecraft settings.

Have you done something about the scaling of your screen?

Otherwise, take a look under the Minecraft settings for the resolution or set the GUI size to "normal".
