How should I transport Minecraft villagers?

Hi! I found two villagers in nature on a Minecraft server, one was unfortunately killed by zombies. But the second one has a valuable job and I'm trying to promote it. BUT it's too mountainous for boats and elevators are too expensive. The same thing with routes for lorries. Yes, I know you can attract villagers, but 1. I have too little attraction material, there's simply none in the area 2. The attraction over 2 kilometers will take forever. What should I do?!

The professions are not that valuable. You can give them a job yourself by setting up a work block.

I would do it with boats or wagons or move if I didn't have a villager at home. Lorries and rails are also not expensive at all. It just takes a long time to build the track.
