Download Minecraft again after a long time?

I played Minecraft a few years ago and wanted to play it again, but since I have a new PC, Minecraft is of course no longer on it. I went to the Minecraft.net site and signed up, but there's only the option to buy Minecraft. So how do I download my already purchased game again? (Do I have to reinstall Java or similar on my PC?)

You download it and log in normally in the launcher. You don't have to pay anything for that.

Then go to minecraft.net on the three lines and scroll down. Then sign in there. Register and then it should work.
