How to install shaders in Minecraft Java
To do this, you have to download and install Optifine and download a shader.
Then go to Video Settings → Shader → Open Folder and then copy the shader into this folder. When you have that, you can then select it from the shader list
You download optifine for the version of minecraft in which you are playing, then you are looking for a shader that you like, take a look around on YouTube. Then you have to open minecraft with the version of optifine and if you then go to the settings, graphics settings and shader you can open a folder at the bottom in which you then put the shader in and then you just have to select it
I have Optifine for 1.12.2 and think 1.8.9.1.16 …
What is the best shader?
Larslp has the sildurs vibrant extreme shader. If you have a not so good PC just use medium or lite.
