See if there's a "Lite" version of the shader or try another one. It is possible that you are underperforming.
But it can also be that you are using a shader for another Minecraft version, because it also crashes.

Start Minecraft
Go on installations
Select the appropriate version and go to the 3 dots and edit
Go to more options
JVM arguments should start with something with 2G, instead of the 2 you write a 4
then save and start Minecraft
