I'm currently trying to build my own village in Minecraft on the Switch (Bedrockedition). It all works out quite well. I just saw how a yter reduced the offers from villagers by infecting them with zombies and then healing them again. That is only possible, the offers are not cheaper for me. Is that only possible with Java or what?
These are discounted if you have the effect of "Hero of the village" or "Hero of the Village", which is the case after a successful raid. I do not know of any other options.
If you revive a Villager, the offers are extremely discounted. Even much more than with "Hero of the Village".
