Minecraft and memory?

I bought a new PC with 16 Gb Ram and I was told that it would be enough if I play minecraft but the load is 80%, that's not too much or normal

(Almost only minecraft open)

16 GB are sufficient. Most of the time, the Ram memory that Minecraft can access is limited.

Minecraft can't take more than 8GB.

I say it like this: I play minecraft with 8gb and the utilization is also ~ 80%, in the sense. Probably 4gb, but then it will probably jerk a bit ;-)

Minecraft takes what it gets.

For Minecraft also 1 GB Ram is enough. That fits.

Simply allocate only 2GB and your problem is solved.

You have to allow minecraft to use more memory.

(By default, MC takes a maximum of 1GB because of it)
