Hi
I just edited a Faithful x32 TP because I didn't like a few things… Now I have the following problem:
I think you can see it very well with the bow…
And at the bottom of the hearts it's white too…
I actually only changed the crosshair on the hearts, only slightly erased and rounded off the bow…
Program: Paint
Do I have to make the image file somehow transparent or why does it suddenly appear white?
Yes you have to make it transparent and you have to save it as a PNG. I don't know if this works with Paint but with GIMP and Photoshop anyway.
Thank you! How do you do that in GIMP?
Edit texture with Adobe Photoshop, nothing else.
Does it cost?
think so… And there are certainly other alternatives.
Adobe Photoshop costs around $ 40-60. Of course there are other alternatives.
Layer → Transparency → Add Alpha Channel
Select magic wand → click on white → remove
Export → PNG
If there's another way lol, there are enough free alternatives
I said there are other alternatives…
Thanks, definitely get the star.
Wasn't there when I answered, sorry
Complain about a good question. XD
GIMP can do that. Irfanview can also define a color as "transparent".
What do you mean now? You really don't understand…
At the time of my reply, you had not yet written the "there are other alternatives", or it was not yet displayed to me. So you shouldn't complain.
As if it wasn't shown. Funny.
Gutfrage does not automatically update the website for everyone. If I turn up here at 6:00 p.m. And you write something at 6:00 p.m., I won't see it until I send my answer / reload the page.
I see. For me the website actually works well.
Can paint do that too? 😅
Surprisingly yes, but only with the GIF format.
Of course it has to be said that this was the XP / Win7 version of Paint that could do that. The Win10 version is no longer able to do this.
