Hey dear question-and-answer team. (This is especially for those who are familiar with technology)
I've been a big fan of Minecraft for a long time and want to play it on my Raspbi. (I have Raspbian as the operating system btw) But I have no desire for the pi edition, which is just garbage XD. So I downloaded the .deb file and installed it via sudo dpkg -i minecraft.deb. Well, better said…
unfortunately there was an error message saying that the package architecture (amd64) does not match my system (armhf).
Although I can imagine what that means; Can someone please explain to me what exactly that means and what I can do that Minecraft is still running?
The new launcher does not exist as .jar, so if you need the old launcher with .jar at the end and lwjgl compiled for arm
Can someone please explain to me what that means exactly
This means you've been trying to get a package running on an ARM-HF processor for an x64_86 processor common in desktops, laptops, and so on. (See also: https://wiki.debian.org/ArmHardFloatPort)
and what can I do that Minecraft still works?
So that it could even run (and that's a pretty big "could"), you'd have to get an installation package for ARM-HF.
But even then, at best, it will be worse than a 4k video stream over a 14.4 modem…
The real question is who uses NEN Raspberry to gamble on Minecraft?
There's a separate Minecraft version for the Raspberry, so what are the arguments against simply using it?
