Are there cheap graphics cards that can create current games with high graphics and sophisticated minecraft shaders easily? 700 euro for RTX 2080 are too much for my parents and I don't have that much pocket money to buy it myself.
So I have the AMD Radeon RX 570 Fortnite runs smoothly on best settings.
Minecraft shaders are not that good, but that is more because my PC is full of garbage and my RAM is to blame.
What is cheap for you?
Since MC shaders are important to you, I would say the GTX 1660 Super could be a good choice. Costs about 300 euro, most shaders should pack at 60fps
RTX 2080 is already set very high, but if ray tracing is very important to you then the cheapest is the RTX2060, but the RTX 2060 Super is more worthwhile.
Otherwise, if you can still wait, the RTX 3000 cards will probably be released towards the end of the year, i.e. The 2000s will be cheaper
Sure it's the ram? Ram I have too little, only 8gb 😠can you expand it?
Assuming you had enough ram, would the card be enough for shader? And would other games like rdr 2 run smoothly?
Take a look at the GTX 1070 cards, you can get them for less than 250 euro and they can do pretty much any shader, of course not at 32 chunks and 120fps, but, depending on which shader, at least 80fps at 12 chunks should be as good be like never a problem. Only the Seus PTGI shader forces the card to its knees, I get about 40fps with 10 chunks
The GTX 960. B Gta 5 play at completely high settings but think that your CPU also plays a big role in your processor
Would they pack rdr 2 too? 🤔
Yes, 300 euro would be good, pain limit would probably be 400 euro for me
Sorry but I have no idea xD
How many gigabytes should I choose? There are always 8, 16 and so 😅
Thanks c
What are chunks for? Always set it to the lowest 😅
Hm rdr2 becomes critical, but rather not at low-medium settings with Ultra. Ultra = 30fps, low = 60-70fps, I guess
At 400 euro I would actually recommend the AMD 5700XT but Minecraft shaders usually run better on Nvidia cards, some shaders do not work at all on AMD cards.
But the RX 5700XT offers most of the performance for 400 euro
You mean the VRAM of the card? Or the RAM from your PC?
With the cards you can usually not choose how much the particular model has. The 1660 Super has e.g. 6GB.
With RAM for your PC, 16GB would be ideal. But have to see what your mainboard and so supports
Are there cheap nvidia cards that pack rdr2? Doesn't have to be ultra, but already medium or high 🙈
Achso, 6gb are enough for a card, read times that is little 😅
I only have 8 for my PC, but you can upgrade 🙈
For 1080p gaming, it is currently sufficient. 8GB While better, of course.
But as I said, the card apparently hardly packs RDR2.
The "cheapest" card from Nvidia which RDR2 would pack at high settings with about 60fps would I think the RTX 2060 Super. But it's just a piece above your 400 euro
The RX7500XT has more power than the RTX 2060 Super.
The performance of the RX 5700 xT corresponds approximately to that of an RTX 2070
Apart from all that, you also have to see if your power supply is enough for a new card
A chunk is a field that is 16 x 16 blocks in size. The distance in Minecraft is measured by how the visibility is measured with chunks. The more chunks you load at the same time, the more power Minecraft needs. If you have the lowest visibility, shaders (NOT something like the SEUS shader) shouldn't be a problem even with bad PCs.
Don't even know what power supply I have 😅
Ahh lul oki
Under no circumstances would an rx570 for rdr2 be high, on YouTube there are enough tests where you can look up something like that.
Yes, Dek Ram can be expanded
The visibility
Minecraft is calculated in chunks, a chunk is 16 * 16 in size
So the higher the chunk count, the higher the range of vision
Ok I took from your answers that you have 8GB Ram and an I7, which I7? (Can you check in the task manager)
What room do you have? 1 * 8 or 2 * 4
With a budget of 300-400 euro, the decision is quite simple.
The rx5700 or 5700xt
Open the pc, have a look 😂
Have only 8gb, but then upgrade to 16gb, i7-7700k I think
I'm afraid I'll break something O_o
Ok, an rx5700 / xt would be very suitable
Is that enough for games like rdr2?
Yes, you can flip through here (
Ahh oki, are there different "versions" of the card?
From the 5700? Only the 5700 and the 5700xt, so to speak, the big brother
if you choose the 5700 i recommend the msi 5700 gaming x
Are the gaming x cards better than those without gaming x?
Which do you mean? Do you mean the others from MSI?
The Gaming x is the quietest
