If I create a realm on the Win 10 edition, can friends from Java join? And which is better, Java or Bedrock?
Java is only available for the computer. Bedrock is mainly for PS4 / Switch / XBOX. If you're wondering why "mainly". Because you could get Bedrock on your pc for a while. Which Minecraft version do you have?
If you create a realm in the Win 10 Edition, only people with the Bedrock version can join (is the Win10).
And personally I think Java is better, but they are pretty similar, only better in terms of multiplayer
Aren't updates for Java coming sooner?
Absolutely none.
How do you mean? Do you want to create a realm? So you can only do that with the same version.
Jain, on Java there are so-called snapshots where you can see the current development status of a new version. But I think the final version looks pretty much the same for both
Okay thanks. Do I need a Mojang account for the bedrock?
If you want to have a Bedrock account on your computer, this won't happen as long as you don't have one, as it is only available to people who bought one early on. If you have a PS4 / XBOX / Switch etc. You can buy Minecraft normally
Okay and do these realms also exist for Java?
Yes, there are many other ways to create a server for free instead of spending money. Just type in google. Free Minecraft server
Yes, but I'm interested in this HyPixel template. So that my server then pulls out like HyPixel
No, always on the same day
There are also betas on the Bedrock
To your first question: As far as I know, only Win10 players can join your realm.
Second question: In my opinion, Minecraft Java is better because there are a lot more servers and you can generally play with more people. However, Java also costs 27 euro (I think)
