Why am I not getting my Minecraft Bedrock Edition?

I bought the Java Edition on February 25, 2015, and now I've learned that if you bought Minecraft before October 19, 2018, you can get it for free. However, I can't speak any code, at least there's nothing there for me when I do what is explained in numerous videos. Does anyone know a solution for this?
