I had the same problem at the time and I was never given a reason, but all of my buddies unanimously told me that if then one could get Java.
Personally, I don't know what's different, but it can't be much better than Java because this version is just completely awesome
I would say it's pretty similar, but you can add all kinds of TexturePacks and Mods to the JAVA version and only to a limited extent with the normal version…
With the Java version you can install shaders and higher-resolution texture packs, which is not so easy with the C ++ version.
Java, better modifications and multiplayer possibilities.
I think MC Java is better. But ask e.g. Your friends, which edition they have, as e.g. The Windows 10 Edition can't use Hypixel (at least it doesn't work for one of my friends). Although both on e.g. They can't invite each other to go to The Hive. With the Windows Edition you also have to specify a '' Port '' for the server.
