Minecraft JavaEdition not working?

I bought the Minecraft Java Edition a few days ago. However, I can only play the single player, because if I want to play the multiplayer it says that I have to change something in my Microsoft settings, but I don't know what.

If you are sure that you got the Java Edition, you only know the problem from the Windows 10 Edition.

If you starrest Minecraft and see your character on the start screen, it is the Windows 10 Edition.
